Lockheed Martin, through its Sikorsky division, introduced new armed BLACK HAWK helicopter kits designed to expand mission capabilities across multiple roles.

The production-ready kits enable a single Black Hawk aircraft to perform air assault, close support, medical evacuation, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and tactical lift missions, reducing the need for separate specialized fleets. Operators can choose between configurations for close support or precision strike, with modular upgrades available.

The system allows rapid reconfiguration within approximately three hours, enhancing operational flexibility and mission readiness. Lockheed Martin said the solution offers cost efficiencies through a single-platform approach, supported by a long-term supply chain and lifecycle extending beyond 2070.

The kits are available via foreign military sales or direct commercial channels, supporting integration into existing Black Hawk fleets worldwide.
