Microchip Technology Inc. announced the expansion of its dsPIC33A digital signal controller (DSC) family with new devices designed for AI data center power, motor control, and intelligent sensing applications.

The newly introduced controllers integrate high-performance real-time control, advanced analog capabilities, and built-in hardware security, including support for post-quantum cryptography. These features aim to simplify system design, reduce component requirements, and accelerate time to market for high-efficiency applications such as power conversion and industrial automation.

Built on a 200 MHz 32-bit architecture, the devices support fast control loops and high-speed data processing, making them suitable for next-generation data centers, automotive systems, and industrial equipment. They also include enhanced connectivity options and compatibility with modern development tools and operating systems.
