NEC Corporation announced that its automated negotiation AI has been recognized as a use case in a Gartner report on AI in procurement.

The technology enables “machine buyers” to automate procurement negotiations, potentially reducing purchasing cycles from months to seconds.

NEC has already tested the system internally to automate delivery schedule negotiations with suppliers and said it will continue advancing AI-driven solutions to support digital transformation and supply chain efficiency.
