Becton, Dickinson and Company announced the launch of its HemoSphere Stream Module, a new solution enabling continuous, noninvasive blood pressure monitoring for patients.
The device provides real-time, beat-to-beat arterial waveform data using a finger cuff, allowing clinicians to track blood pressure changes continuously rather than relying on intermittent measurements. It integrates with existing bedside monitors and is designed to improve detection of critical changes during and after procedures.
BD said the technology helps address gaps in patient monitoring, particularly in surgical and critical care settings, supporting earlier intervention and improved patient safety.
The launch reflects growing demand for noninvasive, continuous monitoring solutions in healthcare.
