Becton, Dickinson and Company announced the European launch of its AI-enabled medication management solutions, including the BD Pyxis Pro Dispensing System and the BD Incada Connected Care Platform.

The new system combines automation and AI-driven analytics to improve medication storage, tracking, and access at the point of care, helping hospitals enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen patient safety. Features include RFID-based access, barcode scanning, and real-time inventory visibility.

Built on cloud infrastructure, the platform enables healthcare providers to analyze medication usage patterns and optimize workflows across large networks of connected devices. BD said the solution will support digital sovereignty requirements in Europe while maintaining high performance and security standards.

The rollout marks an expansion of BD’s connected care capabilities, aiming to modernize hospital pharmacy operations and improve clinical outcomes across the region.
