Fujitsu Limited announced the launch of a new generative AI service designed to analyze source code and automatically generate system design documents.
The service, “Fujitsu Application Transform” powered by Kozuchi AI, can reduce document generation time by up to 97%, significantly accelerating the modernization of legacy IT systems. It supports languages such as COBOL and improves documentation accuracy and readability compared to conventional methods.
By leveraging proprietary technologies, including knowledge graph–enhanced retrieval systems, the solution minimizes errors and ensures comprehensive analysis of complex codebases.
Fujitsu said the offering will be provided as a SaaS solution in Japan and plans to expand its capabilities to include automated code rewriting and system maintenance support, helping organizations streamline digital transformation efforts.
