GE HealthCare announced that its next-generation diagnostic imaging viewer, View, has received U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance.
The cloud-native viewer is part of the Genesis Radiology Workspace and is designed to allow radiologists to securely access and interpret medical images from virtually anywhere. The platform includes high-performance 2D and 3D visualization along with AI-enabled tools that support faster clinical decision-making and improved workflow efficiency.
GE HealthCare said the system aims to streamline radiology workflows and reduce time spent on non-interpretive tasks—currently estimated to account for up to 44% of radiologists’ work—helping clinicians analyze images more efficiently and improve patient care.
