CVS Health and Google Cloud partner to develop AI-driven healthcare engagement platform
CVS Health and Google Cloud have announced a strategic partnership to develop a new AI-powered healthcare consumer engagement platform through CVS Health’s newly launched technology subsidiary, Health100.
The platform will use Google Cloud’s AI technologies, including Gemini models, Cloud Healthcare API and BigQuery, to create an integrated system that connects patients with pharmacies, healthcare providers, insurers and digital health services. The AI-native platform aims to deliver real-time, personalized health support, improve access to care and help consumers manage healthcare costs.
CVS Health said the Health100 platform is designed to provide an always-on digital health partner that can guide patients through care decisions and connect them with services such as pharmacist-led care management. The platform is expected to launch in 2026 and will allow other healthcare innovators to build applications within its ecosystem.
