The Boeing Company said it secured Air Cambodia’s largest-ever single-aisle order, with the Cambodian carrier committing to 10 Boeing 737 MAX 737-8 jets and holding options for 10 additional aircraft, announced Feb. 3, 2026 at the Singapore Airshow.

According to the release, Air Cambodia finalized the firm order in December 2025, and Boeing noted it had previously been listed as “unidentified” on Boeing’s Orders & Deliveries page. The deal will make the 737 MAX the first Boeing aircraft operated by a Cambodian airline, as Air Cambodia aims to renew and expand its fleet and add/direct services across North and Southeast Asia.

Boeing highlighted the 737-8’s typical two-class capacity of up to 178 passengers and range of up to 3,500 nautical miles (6,480 km), and said the aircraft provides about a 20% reduction in fuel use and emissions versus the airplanes it replaces. Air Cambodia currently operates six single-aisle and regional jets serving routes including Vietnam, India, Thailand, China, Japan and Hong Kong.

Boeing also cited its outlook that Southeast Asian carriers will require nearly 5,000 new airplanes over the next 20 years, with single-aisle jets representing more than 80% of deliveries.
