RTX reported strong fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results and issued a positive outlook for 2026, citing solid demand across its commercial and defense businesses.

In the fourth quarter, RTX posted sales of $24.2 billion, up 12 percent year over year, with adjusted earnings per share of $1.55 and free cash flow of $3.2 billion. The company ended the year with a backlog of $268 billion, split between commercial aerospace and defense programs.

For full-year 2025, sales increased 10 percent to $88.6 billion, while adjusted EPS rose 10 percent to $6.29. Free cash flow reached $7.9 billion, up $3.4 billion from the prior year, reflecting improved operating performance and execution.

Looking ahead, RTX expects continued growth in 2026, forecasting adjusted sales of $92.0 to $93.0 billion, organic sales growth of 5 to 6 percent, adjusted EPS of $6.60 to $6.80, and free cash flow of $8.25 to $8.75 billion. Management said the company is entering 2026 with strong momentum and remains focused on expanding capacity, investing in new capabilities, and executing its sizable backlog.
