Fiserv has formed a strategic partnership with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company to introduce the Clover suite of commerce products to Japan, expanding Fiserv’s Asia-Pacific presence.

Set to launch in late 2026, the all-in-one payments and business management platform will support small and medium-sized merchants across retail, food and beverage, and professional services, aligning with Japan’s goal to raise cashless payments to 65% by 2030.
