Cardinal Health highlighted decades of innovation in biopharma logistics and packaging, underscoring how its Third-Party Logistics Services and Cardinal Health Packaging Solutions teams support the delivery of complex therapies from FDA approval to patient care. The company said the combined capabilities of the two units help biopharma manufacturers manage temperature-sensitive and time-critical treatments, including cell and gene therapies, through advanced packaging, cold chain expertise and integrated logistics.

Cardinal Health noted that the teams have expanded their infrastructure, digital tools and regulatory-compliant services to meet growing industry demands, processing more than 25,000 cell and gene therapy orders since 2017. The company also plans to open a new Midwest distribution center within the next two years to further strengthen its biopharma supply chain network.
