Brookfield Asset Management posts record earnings and capital activity in Q3 2025
Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. (NYSE: BAM, TSX: BAM) reported record results for the third quarter of 2025, driven by strong fundraising, capital deployment, and monetizations across its global investment platform.
The company raised $30 billion in new capital and deployed $23 billion during the quarter — both record figures — while realizing $15 billion in monetizations. Fee-related earnings rose 17% year-over-year to $754 million, with margins reaching 58%, while distributable earnings climbed 7% to $661 million. Net income attributable to shareholders increased 33% to $724 million.
President Connor Teskey highlighted that the firm’s “record fundraising and deployment have driven earnings to an all-time high,” adding that the recently announced full acquisition of Oaktree will enhance collaboration and efficiency across the platform.
Brookfield’s fee-bearing capital grew 8% to $581 billion, supported by demand for its infrastructure, transition, and credit strategies. Key fundraising milestones included a $20 billion close for its second Global Transition Fund—the world’s largest private clean energy fund—and progress toward closing its flagship real estate and private equity funds.
By segment, the firm deployed $9.3 billion in infrastructure, $9.9 billion in credit, $1.9 billion in real estate, and $2.1 billion in private equity. Monetizations totaled $4.2 billion in infrastructure, $5.0 billion in credit, and $2.1 billion in renewable power.
Strategic highlights included the planned $3.0 billion acquisition of the remaining stake in Oaktree Capital, a completed majority acquisition of Angel Oak, and a partnership with the U.S. Government to advance nuclear power projects using Westinghouse technology.
As of September 30, 2025, Brookfield had $125 billion in uncalled fund commitments and $2.6 billion in corporate liquidity. The company’s board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.4375 per share, payable December 31, 2025.
