Atlassian Reports Strong Q1 FY2026 Results with 21% Revenue Growth Driven by Cloud and AI Momentum

Atlassian Corporation (NASDAQ: TEAM) reported first-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $1.43 billion, a 21% year-over-year increase, fueled by robust enterprise adoption and accelerating cloud migration. Cloud revenue rose 26% to $998 million, reflecting growing demand for the company’s AI-driven collaboration solutions.

The company posted a GAAP operating loss of $96.3 million (–7% margin), which included $55.7 million in restructuring charges, while non-GAAP operating margin stood at 23%. Net loss narrowed to $51.9 million ($0.20 per share) from $123.8 million ($0.48 per share) a year earlier. Atlassian ended the quarter with $2.8 billion in cash and marketable securities and generated $115 million in free cash flow.

CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes credited the company’s “relentless pace of AI innovation,” highlighting over 3.5 million monthly active AI users, up 50% quarter-over-quarter. CFO Joe Binz emphasized that strong enterprise sales and rising remaining performance obligations (RPO of $3.3 billion, up 42%) demonstrate durable long-term growth potential, supported by investments in AI, enterprise solutions, and system-of-work integration.
