Vertiv Holdings Co (NYSE: VRT) reported a strong third quarter of 2025, driven by surging demand in AI-related digital infrastructure. Organic orders rose about 60% year-on-year and 20% sequentially, while net sales increased 29% to $2.68 billion, with particularly strong growth in the Americas (+43%) and APAC (+20%). The company’s backlog grew to $9.5 billion, and its book-to-bill ratio stood at approximately 1.4x.
Operating profit reached $517 million, up 39%, while adjusted operating profit rose 43% to $596 million. The adjusted operating margin expanded to 22.3%, improving 220 basis points year-on-year and 380 basis points quarter-on-quarter. Diluted EPS climbed 122% to $1.02, and adjusted EPS rose 63% to $1.24.
CEO Giordano Albertazzi said the results highlight Vertiv’s expanding leadership in enabling next-generation digital and AI infrastructure. The company accelerated restructuring efforts in EMEA to improve efficiency and is increasing investments in manufacturing capacity, engineering, and strategic acquisitions. Executive Chairman Dave Cote added that Vertiv’s long-term investments in technology and global capacity are now “bearing fruit,” positioning the company to capitalize on the rapid expansion of the AI-driven digital economy.
