Iron Mountain Becomes Official Partner of McLaren Formula 1 Team
Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM), a global leader in information management and digital transformation, announced a new partnership with McLaren Racing as an Official Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team, beginning with the 2025 United States Grand Prix.
Through its AI-enabled digital platform, Iron Mountain will help digitize and activate McLaren’s historical archives, including vintage blueprints, films, and photographs. This initiative will allow McLaren to preserve and transform decades of racing heritage into interactive, intelligent content for fans and partners worldwide.
The partnership also extends to secure lifecycle management of McLaren’s IT assets, leveraging Iron Mountain’s expertise in sustainability and information security.
McLaren’s Co-Chief Commercial Officer Nick Martin said the collaboration will help “bring to life more of the team’s rich history” and deepen fan engagement. Iron Mountain’s Chief Commercial Officer Greg McIntosh emphasized that the alliance reflects “a shared spirit of innovation and high performance,” unlocking new opportunities for storytelling and heritage preservation.
