Vertiv and NVIDIA Collaborate on 800 VDC Power Designs for Next-Gen AI Factories
Vertiv (NYSE: VRT) announced major progress in its collaboration with NVIDIA to develop 800 VDC power platform designs aimed at powering the next generation of AI factories. The company’s system-level infrastructure, advancing from concept to engineering readiness, will enable megawatt-scale computing for future NVIDIA Rubin Ultra platforms expected in 2027. The 800 VDC systems integrate high-efficiency rectifiers, DC busways, and converters to meet the massive energy needs of large-scale AI and high-performance computing operations. Vertiv said the platform will launch in the second half of 2026 and leverage its global service network to ensure operational safety and reliability in high-voltage data center environments.
